The music of the Crowd In Anger can be described by being played with heart and joy mixed with the thoroughgoingness of Slayer, unsubduedness of early Metallica and unruly power of Pantera.

The result is a especially in live shows sweeping dose of metal how it’s got to be!

The idea of starting a band was 2003 by Micha and Stocki. After a long search for a room to jam the possibility was given to play in an old vacant apartment.

Under the name of „Metalmania“ the boys first played some of their favorite metal-songs.

Under these name, too, the first own-composed song named „Black Death“ came up.

2004 the band changed their name to „Crowd In Anger“ and decided to play their own musical style.

Crowd In Anger has a lot of appearances shown so far and the boys always give their best performance, which they show in their music and their live appearance.
Crowd In Anger doesn’t want to copy songs, it’s important to them to give priority to their own music style, which remembers and links to the beginnings of the Heavy Metal of the 80s.

At the Bandcontest from Nautheim ’04 e.V. in march 2005 they could satisfy over 400 people with their show and reached a very good 2nd place!

In may 2005 the band was with Andy Susemihl (Ex-U.D.O and Sinner) and Vitek Spacek (Sinner, Steeler) at the Mavit Studios in Calw to record their first EP, which contains 4 songs. The release party of the EP was in the Rising Sun club in Hirsau in june 2005.

The 1st prize at the Rockcontest in Stuttgart in april 2006 brings them a professional live-recording and 1000 CDs.

Crowd In Anger finished their little tour of 4 gigs from june to july 2006 with a performance at the Römerstein Open Air, where Crematory and Brainstorm appeared, too.

At the Dröhnland Open Air in Hockenheim in september 2006 they made a good 2nd place and could convince the jury with their technique, skills and their show.

Also at the Kwick Metal Contest, which caused a great resonance in Baden-Württemberg, the band made it through the preselection and was able to perform their show in front of 500 people at the LKA-Longhorn in Stuttgart in september 2006.

A great metal show and a great atmosphere convinced the music skilled jury like representatives from Nuclear Blast and Metal Blade to give Crowd In Anger the 3rd place.

In october 2006 they performed at the Monastic Doom X in Weil der Stadt with Might Of Lilith and Disillusion.

In the end of october and november 2006 they gave concerts with the known bands Chinchilla and The Bastards.

There are not few people, who say Metallica was real Metallica only on Kill ’Em All and Ride The Lightning and after that they lost their way of good music and there also a lot of bands, who say, they sound like Metallica. But, well, now there’s a band like Crowd In Anger. What about that? Crowd In Anger continue the music at that point, where Metallica stopped after Ride The Lightning. In finest old-school-speed-metal-style Crowd In Anger dash their songs to the people. The song Prophet Of Hell could come directly from the Kill ’Em All era. People, who like the „old“ Metallica, Xentrix and Stranger in their speed-metal-days, will be fully satisfied at all costs! A young talented band, from which will be heard a lot of in the future!
